    PROFILE:

    Dr Sanjiv M Sansgiri has more than 35-year record of building capabilities and driving results. He utilizes customer oriented, stakeholder focused strategies for positively influencing productivity, performance and growth. Dr Sansgiri currently responds to the challenges of the modern day society and life-long learning as an educator, by sharing knowledge, skills, talents and experience in the community at all levels. With strong abilities founded on overall management and technical excellence, he has led organizations dealing with engineered products to achieve aggressive improvements. He has addressed engineering solutions and services as well as Art to Part requirements of organizations in USA, Europe, Japan, Australia and India, from sectors such as automotive, farm/off-highway/construction/industrial equipment, aerospace, consumer goods, life sciences and production.

    In addition to roles heading Engineering and IT businesses, he has a proven track record in consulting, product design and development, project/program/team management, manufacturing, CAD/CAM, CAE, academia and research. He leverages a strong commitment towards innovation, technology, quality, robust processes and best practices for?continuous value creation. He is an effective communicator and a creative problem solver with exposure of multiple geographies, cultures and business practices, adept at managing diversity in challenging markets. He is an able hands-on leader, committed team player and mentor who reserves a sharp focus for human resources and has the natural ability of building sustainable relationships. Dr Sansgiri also works alongside leadership of industries and other institutions to address issues in business, technical, management and operational excellence, and has particularly made impact in areas such as, strategy, planning, branding, engineering, manufacturing, processes and systems, training, coaching and soft skills.

    Dr Sansgiri began professional education with a Mechanical Engineering baccalaureate (1984 Alumnus MIT, 沙巴体育). Following a stint with Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing in India, he chose USA for further studies. He earned his Masters and then his Doctorate while in the USA (The University of Akron, Mechanical Engineering, Specialization: Computational Mechanics and Design). His family and he spent close to 20 wonderful years in USA and then returned back home to India where they continue to share, learn and grow.
