Mr. C.G. Muthana was associated with our own group entity - 沙巴体育 Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.,(MHEPL), where he last served?as?the?Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the associated teaching hospitals of MAHE i.e.?Kasturba Hospital - 沙巴体育, KMC Hospital, Attavar, Mangaluru, Dr. TMA Pai Hospital - Udupi and Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital - Karkala since January 28, 2018 prior joining MAHE.?He comes with almost three decades of experience in the field of hospital operations, finance, information systems, personnel, administration, materials management and maintenance. His strengths of process and systems orientation have been well demonstrated in the various senior operations responsibilities that he has held in various hospitals.

Mr. Muthana has been instrumental in streamlining the project at 沙巴体育 Hospitals (Dwarka), New Delhi. ?Since December 2010, he has been responsible for driving the group’s procurement strategy and bringing down the overall material consumption in addition to heading the group’s flagship hospital in Bangalore. In July 2013, he was moved full time into procurement and materials, keeping in line with the intense focus of the enterprise to drive down material costs.

Since then, he has changed the face of the procurement and materials function, deploying many firsts in this industry, such as creating a Central Warehouse for supplies to all the group hospitals, appointing a logistics and supply chain partner for supplies of drugs and pharmaceutical products. He has made systems and processes in place to bring in transparency and smooth functioning of the procurement vertical. With all this, he has successfully driven down the costs of materials used in the enterprise significantly and also brought about improved end-user satisfaction in the process.
