Dr. Shivalika Agarwal is an Assistant Professor of English in the Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. She brings extensive expertise in gender, women, and motherhood studies. She has been awarded her PhD in Indian Motherhood Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. She additionally holds an MA in English from IGNOU as well as a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Delhi. Dr. Agarwal’s research interests encompass Indian motherhood studies, women’s studies, psychoanalysis, feminine psychology, identity development, and gender and sexuality. Her scholarly works have been featured in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Postcolonial Writing, 沙巴体育 Asian Popular Culture, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Journal of 沙巴体育 Women’s Studies, Journal of Feminist Family Therapy, and Women: A Cultural Review. Additionally, she is also a reviewer for Routledge and Elsevier. Dedicated to fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment in both her research and teaching, Dr. Agarwal actively collaborates with experts from various institutions in India and abroad for continuous self-growth and research. She also has a passion for creative writing, with her published work appearing in digital platforms like Madras Courier, Outlook India, miniMAG, Poetryaspromised, Setu, Ghudsavar, and The Hooghly Review, among others.
