Assistant Professor

Dr. Shivani Sachdev is an assistant professor of psychology at DLHS. She completed her PhD in Psychology from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Kanpur. Her research areas encompass Social Psychology in Organizations, Military Psychology, and Organizational Psychology. She holds a master’s degree in applied psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, with a specialization in clinical psychology. She is interested in researching the integration of social and organizational psychology, focusing on the dynamic interactions between organizational behavior and social and personality factors. She is passionate about the real-world application of psychological concepts, exploring how they manifest in everyday life. Proficient in mixed methods research, she believes the importance of staying updated with the latest research methodologies and trends, including the use of machine learning in psychology. She is keen on collaborations and interdisciplinary work. She has also published in official journals of the American Psychological Association Society including Military Psychology, and Psychological Trauma: Theory, 沙巴体育, Practice and Policy, as well as British Psychological Society Journals such as the British Journal of Clinical Psychology. She has also presented her work at prestigious international conferences of the Asian Association of Social Psychology and the Society for Qualitative 沙巴体育 in Mental Health.
