沙巴体育 Law School MAHE Bengaluru campus organized 2nd edition of Constitutional Law Lecture Series on Friday March 17, 2023. The lecture was delivered by Hon’ble Justice Shri Swatanter Kumar,?former Judge, Supreme Court of India & Chairperson of the National Green Tribunal. Second speaker of the event was Prof (Dr.) C. Basavaraju. S, Vice Chancellor of the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi.

This lecture was part of a series of lectures to celebrate the significance of the Constitution at a time when there is a trepidation that the constitutional morality is being challenged within the domain of judicial interpretation of some recent contemporary issues. There is an increasing anxiety among scholars that the idea of social justice apparent in the Constitutional provisions are being diluted.

沙巴体育 Law School has taken a lead in organising and offering a platform to a scholastic approach for studying constitution by inviting more than 200 final year law students and faculty members including Principals of Law Schools from Bengaluru to participate in the lecture series.
