CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Dr. Satyanarayana is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science at the Prasanna School of Public Health, 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education, 沙巴体育. He has over 8 years of teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D. from the Mangalore University and has cleared the KSET conducted by the University of Mysore. He handled courses such as Theory Sampling, Econometrics, Point Estimation, Data Mining Techniques, Time series Analysis, Multivariate Analysis and Data Science for M.Sc. Statistics Students. His area of interest lies in Statistical Inference, Econometrics, Data science, Time Series Analysis, Multivariate Analysis and Structural Equation Modelling etc. He is the Seminar and Journal presentation co-ordinator for the Department of Data Science.

He received the Best Paper Award in Statistics and Data Science at the 沙巴体育 Conference in 2018. Additionally, he was honored with the Dr. M.N. Gopalan Prize for the Best 沙巴体育 Paper by the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics (ISPS), Haryana, in 2018
