The 30^th?batch of the 沙巴体育 Transfer Program in Engineering at the 沙巴体育 Centre for Applied Sciences(ICAS), 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), was formally inaugurated in the Dr. T M A Pai Auditorium, 沙巴体育 on 07^th August 2023.

Prof. (Dr.) Niti Nipun Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor (Strategy & Planning), MAHE, 沙巴体育, was the? Chief guest of the function. Ms. Rhea Mammen and Mr. Vishwas Adiga, 沙巴体育, batch of 2020-2022, are the guests of honour of the function.

After the formal inauguration, there were a series of short presentations by the university officials on various topics, including administrative matters. Academic matters, Student welfare measures, Hostel facilities & regulations, Library facilities, sports & games facilities, Volunteer Service Organization, 沙巴体育 talk, and ICAS tech club activities.

Dr. Hareesha K.S., Director, ICAS welcomed the gathering; Dr. Ganesha A, Associate Director, ICAS delivered the vote of thanks; Ms. Disha A Gowda & Mr. Bhavansh Reddy were the masters of the ceremony.

Several orientation activities were conducted for the newly joined ICAS students. Eleven foreign university delegates and representatives participated in the orientation function.

On 8^th August, all the fresh students and their parents had an opportunity to have one-to-one interaction with the foreign university delegated, which helped them to know better about the credit transfer process and facilities/requirements available at foreign universities.
