Overview

Department of Paediatrics is a branch which deals medical problems in children aged 0-18 years. It also focuses on prevention of diseases by means of adequate nutrition and immunisation practices. Paediatrics has importantly contributed to the society by means of reducing infant mortality which in turn is a scale to asses national progress.

The department not only deals with all branches of medicine, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology and neurology in children but also in intensive care management of new-borns and children.

Use of lead as nanoparticle in traditional medicine - multi-organ approach to evaluate the functional, cellular and molecular alterations.
