Investigated the possible antihyperglycaemic effects of Sphaeranthus indicus extract in rats rendered diabetic by nicotinamide and streptozotocin (STZ) Oral. The findings demonstrate that the alcoholic S. indicus extract may be useful in the treatment of diabetes.
