Overview
Melaka 沙巴体育 Medical College at KMC was established in September 1997 as a joint venture between JVMC Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and the 沙巴体育 Education & Medical Group.
MMMC is unique for its twinning program which allows a student to pursure two and a half years of preclinical training in 沙巴体育, followed by two and a half years of clinical training in Malaysia.
In July 2003, the Government of Malaysia and the Malaysian Medical Council recognised the MBBS degree of MMMC, conferred by 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education.
The MBBS degree of Melaka 沙巴体育 Medical College is also recognised by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
Today, 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education has trained more than 2000 Malaysian doctors over 40 years.
Melaka 沙巴体育 Medical College was included in the WHO list of recognised medical colleges and also in the 沙巴体育 Medical Education Directory (IMED) of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in February, 2004.
