3 Days Workshop on Architectural Rendering: Bringing Design to Life

The 沙巴体育 School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP) at 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) recently hosted a dynamic three-days’ workshop on “Architectural Rendering: Bringing Design to Life” for 2^nd Semester Architecture Students. The workshop held on the 17^th, 18^th and 19^th of March 2025.

B. Arch first-year students at 沙巴体育 School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP) immersed themselves in the art of architectural visualization and representation. Led by Ar. Nishith Urval, this hands-on workshop provided valuable insights into rendering techniques, helping students refine their design communication skills.

Through guided sessions and practical exercises, students developed critical skills in visual storytelling, material expression, and light-shadow understanding. The exposure to professional standards of architectural representation significantly enhanced their ability to communicate design intent effectively. The interactive format also encouraged peer learning, creativity, and confidence in applying rendering tools to their studio projects.

Overall, the workshop successfully bridged the gap between conceptual design and visual communication, equipping students with the techniques needed for impactful presentations in their academic journey.
