沙巴体育 is like a living dream. Dream of many students like me, who wants to gather the whole of the universe in their hands. And I am living in such a Universe now. After my under graduation I was very anxious about my future, my career because I was unsatisfied whatever I had after those 5 years. Oh, let me tell you first about that long 5 years unsatisfied journey. I am a Dentist, be precise discontented Dentist, yeah you have heard right, I am a dentist who is going to take you to a never-ending voyage of Public Health.

A place with a lots of opportunities which truly believes in the philosophy of Inspired by Life, just to make your life an Inspiration for the world. We are glad to be a part of one of the top 2.7% Universities in the world. After my dentistry I just wanted to change my field but this time with no regrets, no complaints. I have decided to pursue Public Health, but the question was, where should I go? Because doing a Masters is not a test match, where you can play a second inning. Post-graduation is like a 20-20 cricket match, here you have to perform and achieve whatever you dreamt of in a very short span of time, that too without looking back.

Public health is a new emerging field in the health sector of India, with a few institutes which provide a Master degree in Public Health. People have the perception that if you want to pursue Public health, one should do it from abroad. But I just want to ask you, if you have an institute in your own country, which believes in bridging the world attitude. Do you need to go abroad!!!!?So let’s reveal the mystery, and put on the curtain from the Paradise of Public Health, it is none other than Prasanna School of Public Health. An evolving star in the universe of 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education. I belong to this school by dedicating one year of my life to it and one more year to go. Choosing Prasanna School of Public Health was one of the best ever decision of my life. I am a student of Master of Public Health (Health Epidemiology) one of the premier course offered by PSPH. PSPH have 3 different departments, Department of Public Health, Department of Social Work, Department of Hospital Administration.With an innovation research Centre PHESA (Public Health Evidence 沙巴体育 Asia).

As I said this school is bridging the world, Master of Public Health program provides 5 specialization – Health Epidemiology, Environment and Occupational Health, Maternal and Child Health, Global Health, Health Policy.

PSPH provides an opportunity to have an outlook of health on global perspective, by student exchange program in 2nd semester of MPH. Students gets an opportunity to spend their 2nd semester at Maastricht University, Netherlands. As per the policy students of Maastricht University also join us here in India for the same semester. Every year PSPH organize Global Health Symposium, Which is one and the only kind of initiative taken by any institute in India. Around 230 participants of 3 Universities – 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education, India, Maastricht University, Netherlands, and McMaster University Canada from all across the world participate in it.

PSPH is running lots of public health projects with UNICEF and WHO successfully in local area. Many research works are going on. Students have a wide exposure to the field work as well as to the research work, as per their interest. We have got the best ever faculty here, who encourages us on each and every aspect either it is professional or personal.
I would love to call my school, Paradise of Public Health because it is creating our future like one. Day by day it is making us believe in our capabilities and potential. It isn’t creating its ambassadors, it’s turning us into the milestones in the field of Public health.
