CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Passionate about the intersection of law and technology, Prof. Yashu has recently started her career in academia. With a rich and varied industry experience as a corporate lawyer, she has helped several businesses and startups with their legal affairs – ensuring that ‘legal’ is not a hurdle, but a business enabler! Yashu is currently working as a faculty with MLS where she focuses on the LLM programmes focused on IT, data privacy and cyber laws.

She is also the Co-ordinator of the 沙巴体育 Centre on AI and Data Privacy at MLS and is committed to drive research projects under the Centre.

Prof Yashu also serves as the Faculty Head for Internship and Placement Committee for our LLM students where her industry experience is very helpful for students.
