“The mushrooming of infertility clinics and malpractice in India is a matter of great concern.? This in turn creates pressure on politicians and legislators to scrutinize, understand and control these practices. The government will soon implement a bill for accreditation, supervision and regulation of all infertility clinics offering IVF,” said Dr. R. S. Sharma Deputy Director and Head of Reproductive Health, Indian Council of Medical? 沙巴体育, New Delhi at the inaugural function of National symposium and workshop on “Best practices in Clinical Embryology”.


The conference was jointly organize by Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, 沙巴体育, 沙巴体育 Association of Clinical Embryologists (MACE) and Cook InterMedics on December 1 and 2, 2012 at Hotel Fortune Inn Valley View. About 100 IVF professionals from across the country and abroad attended the conference.


Dr Sudhakar Nayak, Associate Dean, KMC 沙巴体育 welcomed the gathering. During the inaugural address, Dr K. Ramanarayan, Vice Chancellor, 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education mentioned that the meeting would help embryology professionals to update their knowledge in embryology and provide quality treatment.
Dr Vinod Bhat, Pro vice Chancellor released the souvenir and abstract book. Dr Pratap Kumar, Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology introduced the Guest of Honor to the audience. The convener of the organizing committee, Dr Satish Adiga, Professor in Embryology gave vote of thanks.
