She holds a PhD from Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia, an MPharm from 沙巴体育 College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MAHE, 沙巴体育, and a BPharm from KLE College of Pharmacy Belagavi. Dr. Kalkundri has established a strong track record with patents and peer-reviewed publications. Her achievements include being awarded the VGST-Spice by the Government of Karnataka (2013), the INSA Fellowship by the Government of India (2014), serving as an ICMR (RMRC) Project Fellow in 2015, receiving the Griffith Graduate 沙巴体育 Fellowship from 2019 to 2023, and earning the Griffith University Collaborative Merit Grant from the Health Group in 2022.
Throughout her doctoral studies, Dr. Kalkundri actively contributed to academia. She has also taken on various roles aimed at enhancing student experience, promoting mental health and well-being, and ensuring workplace health and safety. Recently, she served as a Project 沙巴体育 Scientist for an ICMR-funded project at MCOPS.
