Tribology Lab

The Tribology Lab at our facility is dedicated to the study of friction, wear, and lubrication, providing a comprehensive platform for advanced research and practical learning. The lab features state-of-the-art equipment, including a lubricity tester for evaluating lubricant efficiency, a scratch tester for coating adhesion and hardness analysis, and a rheometer to study the rheological properties of fluids. Additionally, we house a journal bearing test rig for bearing performance evaluation and air-bearing experimental setups for precision applications. The lab is also equipped with thermal conductivity testing instruments, fostering in-depth investigations into material behavior under different operating conditions, supporting innovation in tribological systems.??
