MIT 沙巴体育 cell organized one day Guest Lecture on “SMART PhD Planning” on 27th February 2012 for the benefit of MIT Faculty. Dr. Sriraam (2000 MTech, Biomedical), Professor and Head, Biomedical Department of SSN College of Engineering, Chennai was the resource person. There was overwhelming response to this guest lecture from MIT faculty and more than 100 faculty attended this useful guest lecture.
More than 100 alumni visited 沙巴体育 Cell office & were cherished during this year. Useful discussions were held with them.
22 distinguished alumni were recognized during this year and their profiles highlighting their achievements, were displayed in the University 沙巴体育 website in an attempt to inspire other alumni and students.
Four e-News letters are published in this year and sent to more than 6,000 alumni of our Institute all over the world and also to the faculty and other dignitaries. This e-Newsletter contains the achievements of faculty, staff and students during that period. This has received a tremendous applause from the alumni since they are getting updated with all the developmental activities taking place in their alma mater.
Organizing committee and Advisory committee for Silver Union meet of 1987 batch on 16th December 2012 is constituted.
MANIPAL OLD BOYS (MOB): MOB meet was held at Kottayam, Kerala on Saturday, 10th November 2012. About 50 MIT alumni and their family participated in the day long program. Dr K Jagannath, Associate Director, 沙巴体育, Public and 沙巴体育 Relation, MIT 沙巴体育 was the chief guest of the function.?
