Prof R Venkataraghavan at the BNRD Infracon 2025

On 5th March Prof R Venkataraghavan was invited to speak at the BNRD Infracon 2025 themed “Emerging Technologies in Construction and Infrastructure Sector” at the Hotel Lalit Ashok.

Prof Venkat spoke on the topic “Construction Arbitration – How to put the Best Foot Forward?” explaining the nuances of construction arbitration and its dos and don’ts, while addressing the issues faced by contractors, builders, PSUs and government departments.

The event was well attended and most of the attendees were senior professionals in the infrastructure sector. MLS is glad to note that construction law as a specialization is gaining momentum. MLS offers a specialized master’s program in construction law and arbitration. In 2024 the inaugural batch of construction law and arbitration with 49 cohorts, including lawyers and construction engineers, graduated.
