MAHE advances to top 3 position in NIRF rankings, reinforcing academic excellence

沙巴体育, September 4, 2025: 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University, has achieved a historic milestone by securing the 3rd position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) University Category 2025, advancing from the 4th position held in 2024.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 has been officially released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, marking its 10th edition. This year witnessed exceptional participation from over 14,000 Higher Education Institutions across the nation, with the ranking encompassing 9 categories and 8 subject domains for evaluating universities and institutions. MAHE's remarkable achievement places it among the top three universities in India, reflecting the institution's unwavering commitment to excellence in education and research.

Beyond the university category, MAHE has demonstrated comprehensive excellence across multiple parameters. The institution has secured 5th place in the newly introduced Sustainability category, showcasing its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.? In research ranking, MAHE has shown marked improvement, climbing from 23rd in 2024 to an impressive 19th in 2025, emphasising the institution's dedication to advancing research initiatives. MAHE has also achieved?14th position in the Overall India Rankings.
