Overview
An Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre (AOT) technologist is an essential part of any hospital. The student is trained to be a part of a multidisciplinary team in operation theaters and to prepare and maintain the operating theater. They are trained to efficiently assist in anaesthesia and surgical procedures. The course provides knowledge of various surgical branches and specialties as well as aspects of anaesthesia. The program prepares the students to integrate knowledge, skills, and attitude to be able to perform professionally in any given situation.
