“Prosthetics and Orthotics” is a healthcare profession that requires clinical and technological skills. The professionals require to assess, prescribe, design, fabricate and fit prostheses and orthoses to the required individuals with locomotor disorders. The profession futher empowers learning through advances in technology and its clinical implications.

- The current analysis about BPO is more concentrated on hands-on clinical training and experience.
- This course offers a under graduate class room teaching, Practical demonstration, Lab/workshop and technical skill learning, incorporating both theory, practical and clinics with six months of internship
- This course also facilitaes technical/engineering based learning in collaboration with multiple engineering departments of MAHE.
