The Department of Social and Health Innovation (DSHI), Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), 沙巴体育 organised a SC (Scheduled Castes) ST (Scheduled Tribes) Federation Session on Monday, April 28, 2025 (10:30 to 12:30 hours IST) in the Lecture Hall 64, PSPH, MAHE, 沙巴体育.

Representatives of the SC ST Federation (District Leaders) were the resource persons who conducted the session for the members of the Federation. The Session was regarding the Consultation Meeting on Internal Reservation in Karnataka. ??????

After the session, the participants felicitated Dr Cherian Varghese (Director, PSPH, MAHE, 沙巴体育).

The Government of Karnataka had constituted an enquiry commission, headed by Justice H N Nagamohan Das, to look into demands for internal reservation amongst Scheduled Castes in the State of Karnataka.

Keeping the significance of the issue in view, it was felt appropriate to have a district-level consultation with community leaders, social activists, thinkers and policy makers on the issue.

The members of the faculty and research scholars of PSPH were welcomed for the Session.
