Oral Pathologia- Basics to Expertise

The Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, 沙巴体育 College of Dental Sciences, 沙巴体育 conducted a Continuing Professional Development program: Oral Pathologia- Basics to Expertise on September 2, 2017 for faculty and post-graduate students of the specialty of Oral Pathology.

This scientific program was inaugurated by Dr Poornima Baliga B, Pro-vice Chancellor, Faculty of Health Sciences, 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education. Dr Baliga emphasized the need for research and innovation in Health Sciences. She also mentioned that a good understanding has to be developed between the clinician and the pathologist to ensure to bring about the best in patient care. Dr Keerthilatha M Pai, Dean, MCODS, 沙巴体育 welcomed the gathering. Dr Monica Charlotte Solomon proposed the vote of thanks.

The resource persons for this program were Dr R Venkata Subramanyam Professor and Coordinator Department of OMFS and Diagnostic Sciences, College of Dentistry, King Faisal University, Al-Ahasa, Saudi Arabia, Dr Radhika M Bavle, Professor and Head, Department of oral Pathology, Krishnadeveraya Dental College and Hospital, Bengaluru, Dr Nirmala N Rao, Professor, Department of Oral Pathology 沙巴体育 College of Dental Sciences, 沙巴体育 and Dr Sunitha Carnelio, Additional Professor, Department of Oral Pathology, 沙巴体育 College of Dental Sciences, 沙巴体育. The scientific deliberations also included slide seminar sessions and scientific paper presentations by the faculty and post graduate students.?

Over 75 Faculty and post graduate students from dental schools in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra participated in the scientific deliberation and about 20 scientific papers were presented.?
