Annadhan 2021

As a part of Daan Utsav- Festival of Giving, a VSO (Volunteer Services Organisation) initiative, across all? MAHE colleges, WGSHA conducted Annadhan on 1st October 2021 at Kadiyali School, Kadiyali, Udupi. Annadhan aimed at providing nutritious food to underprivileged children to fulfil UN’s SDG goal 2, “Zero Hunger”.
The menu was comprising of? nutritious 5-course meal consisting of Kosambari (Salad), Aloo Tikki (Starter), Multigrain bread with Paneer filling (Bread), Mix Veg and soya Biryani with Masala Papad and Raitha (Main course), and Brownie (Dessert).

?The food was served at the school premises, MAHE’s transport facilities were used to facilitate distribute the food at the venu. The programme began with a minor school assembly. Children were enlightened by school authorities and MAHE representatives regarding the importance of nutritious food. Children excitedly lined up with plates in their hand and savoured the lunch prepared for them. Overall Annadhan was deemed a successful event
