The 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education remains committed to its goal of generating employment not just to the students and faculty embers but also to the underprivileged sections of local communities by offering a wide variety of employment opportunities to the less fortunate. In MAHE, the impoverished and underprivileged workers are usually recruited into non-clerical duties and housekeeping duties such as dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, security and campus surveillance. In addition to the wages, the underprivileged employees are also provided meals on campus. These meals are served buffet-style, allowing employees to pick and choose what they want. They are provided food that is both nutritious and healthy. Chapatis, rice, dals, gravies and/or curries, curd, salad, and pickle are the usual staples that the meals contain. These meals also keep true to the MAHE mission of maximum utilisation and minimum waste. The meals are also prepare with locally sourced ingredients. Food Banks at MAHE form an essential link between the MAHE community and the underprivileged.?
