Saxena, Director of the Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar, and Dr. Cherian Varghese, Professor & Director of Prasanna School of Public Health, MAHE.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. B. Unnikrishnan, Dean of KMC Mangalore. This was followed by the felicitation and award of the oration to Dr. Deepak Saxena. His Endowment Oration was on "Translating Evidence to Action: A 沙巴体育er’s Journey from Concepts to Policy Formulation."

The session continued with a guest lecture by Dr. Cherian Varghese on "Non-Communicable Diseases: The Silent Tsunami."
