The Interdisciplinary Conference on Healthcare and Technical 沙巴体育 (ICHTR) 2024 was organised on 18th and 19th December 2024 at Mangalore. The conference was a collaborative effort by the MAHE Student 沙巴体育 Forum, under the aegis of the Directorate of 沙巴体育, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore, and 沙巴体育 College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Mangalore.

The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony on 18th December 2024, graced by the chief guest, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, VSM (Retd.), Vice Chancellor of MAHE, 沙巴体育, and the guest of honour, Dr. Dilip G Naik, Pro Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Mangalore Campus.

The conference featured a series of sessions and panel discussions delivered by renowned academicians and experts. The conference provided a platform for oral and poster presentations across various categories: faculty and research scholars, and undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The conference concluded with a valedictory ceremony presided over by Dr. Ashita Uppoor (Dean, MCODS Mangalore).

The conference was supported by ACS (American Chemical Society), Springer Nature, Elsevier, and Taylor & Francis Group.

Ms. Anita Sherly (Biochemistry), Ms. K. R. Souharda (Microbiology), Dr. Farha Mohammed, and Dr. Aparna Nair (both from Community Medicine) from KMC Mangalore secured the "Best Presenter" awards in the poster category.
