HR CLUB Inauguration

The inauguration of “HORIZON” the HR club of School of Management was held on August 18, 2017 at Ganga Class Room. Dr. Vijaya Kini, Associate Director (沙巴体育, PR and IR), MIT 沙巴体育, the chief guest of the function, emphasized the importance of people management. He quoted some examples from his own work experiences while working as the Production Manager of a company, on how to handle and utilize the human skills effectively and efficiently. Dr Raveendranath Nayak, Director, School of Management spoke about the importance of time management and the soft skills one should possess such as oral and written communication skills, ability work as a team member, and empathy, to become an effective manager. Mr. Amol Patwardhan, President of the HR club introduced the club members and presented an overview of the Club activities. The HR club of School of Management has planned to organize various activities which would help the students to enhance their employability. With this in mind the Club has planned various activities to enhance skillsets such as communication, decision making, creative thinking, and time management among its student members.
