SOM alumni luncheon meet-2014

The Annual SOM 沙巴体育 meet, ‘沙巴体育 Luncheon Meet-2014’ was held on March 23, 2014 at Shilton Hotel, Koramangla, Bangalore. Dr. Yogesh Pai, faculty and alumnus of SOM welcomed the gathering. The alumni from the first batch of SOM to the 2013 batch attended the meet. Prof. Kavitha T C, faculty, SOM deliberated the transition that took place in SOM during the year 2013 and also shared the achievements of SOM.

Dr. Venugopal R, the Director (former) of SOM addressed the gathering and conducted an open forum that encouraged talks between the alumni and the faculty towards various issues like curriculum development, placement, guest lectures, SIP etc. 沙巴体育 came out with their valuable opinions and suggestions for the growth and development of SOM. They also informed that the improvement of curriculum should be in tune with industry requirement. These discussions concluded with the alumni promising to do more for their alma mater.

At the end of the discussion, Dr. R Venugopal gave assurance to examine all the suggestions given by the alumni for implementation. He, along with his team, Dr.Laxminarayanan, Prof. Suhan Mendon and Dr. Yogesh Pai identified an alumni coordinator from each batch to strengthen the alumni network. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Laxminarayanan. ?
