The Certificate Course in Scientific Computing and Visualization, hosted by the Centre for Pharmaceutical Skill Development at 沙巴体育 College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, was held on March 16-17, 2024, at MCOPS, MAHE.

The workshop provided hands-on experience in molecular docking and essential scientific computing techniques for modern drug discovery to the participants. Led by expert speakers, including Dr. Neha Sureshchandra Gandhi, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, 沙巴体育 Institute of Technology and P. Sandeep Mallya, Senior Grade Lecturer, Department of Bioinformatics, School of Life Sciences, MAHE, attendees gained insights into protein structure validation, 3D structure rendering, and working with various file formats. ?Over 32 students from diverse educational institutions attended the session.

Feedback from participants highlighted the practical approach and valuable insights were shared during the sessions. On the last day, Dr. Anup Naha, coordinator-CPSD, distributed certificates to resource persons and delegates, acknowledging their contributions and participation. Student coordinators Annamalai Rama, Induja, Anjana, Thamizharasan, and Mahananda ensured the smooth experience of the workshop.
