Centre for Pharmaceutical Care, Department of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS, MAHE, 沙巴体育 always strives to keep up its track in the continued learning and upskilling of the upcoming researchers and clinical pharmacists both within and outside MAHE. As a part of continuous activities, a workshop on the ‘Concepts of Scientific Writing and Publication Ethics’ was organized by the Centre on 23rd & 24th August 2024 in the Seminar Hall, Department of Medical Education, Health Sciences Library, 沙巴体育. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Srinivas Mutalik, Principal, MCOPS. Dr. M. Surulivel Rajan, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacy Practice presented the overview of workshop. The resource personnel for the programme were Dr. Haritha Nekkanti, Associate Scientific Lead, Novartis, Hyderabad and Dr Pranitha Manchanapalli, Expert Scientific Writer, Novartis, Hyderabad. 45 delegates including MAHE and non-MAHE candidates, participated in the workshop. Both days of the event flaunted theoretical and hands-on sessions, making the event much valuable for the participants. Exercises such as manuscript reading, summary writing, abstracting and visualization were provided for the delegates. The session closed on day 2 with an evaluator test involving multiple choice questions and a feedback session. The closing remarks were delivered by Dr. Rajesh V. Associate Professor & Coordinator of Centre for Pharmaceutical Care.
