The Golden Jubilee Commemoration Lecture 2023, sponsored by the IPCs, was held at 10.30 AM on 11 February 2023, at Dr TMA Pai Auditorium. The Department of Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Management, MCOPS, arranged the event, and Dr Sadhna Joglekar, Senior Vice President and Head of the Global Drug Department at Novartis Hyderabad was the invited speaker. Dr Joglekar elaborated on the "Indian Pharmaceutical R&D and Innovation Ecosystem: The Past, Present, and the Future".

Following the? speech by Dr C Mallikarjun Rao, Dr Raviraja N S, Professor and the coordinator of the 沙巴体育 Centre for Biotherapeutics 沙巴体育, introduced Dr Sadhna Joglekar. Dr Raviraja spoke about Dr Joglekar's achievements and her contributions to the field of pharmacology. He emphasised on her numerous achievements and milestones in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr Joglekar's speech was eagerly anticipated by the audience, who was excited to hear from her.

The importance of commercialization, development, innovation, and research in the field of pharmaceutical sciences was covered by Dr Joglekar in the opening remarks. She highlighted the significance of these four ideas for developing the pharmacy industry. She continued by pointing out that commercialization and innovation are two key components of the pharmaceutical sector and that each has a different effect on revenue growth and value creation.

Following Dr Joglekar's presentation, the principal, Prof C. Mallikarjuna Rao, and the vice-principal, Dr Krishnamurthy Bhat, together with the heads of every department of MCOPS felicitated Dr Joglekar and Dr Raviraja. Students and staff members who attended the event expressed their gratitude for the speakers by applauding them.
