Collaboration with Dr. Judy de Haan, Baker IDI Heart & Diabetes Institute

Professor M K Unnikrishnan and his research team entered into a collaboration with Dr. Judy de Haan, Oxidative Stress Lab, Diabetic Complications Division, Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, Melbourne, Australia on 20 April 2016. Collaboration involves research on “endothelial dysfunction and diabetes-associated atherosclerosis evaluation of certain compounds”. Established in 1926, The Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute is one of the oldest independent medical research organizations in Australia and is actively engaged in research partnerships with major pharmaceutical giants such as Novartis, Sanofi Aventis, AstraZeneca etc.
