Adarsh Gopinathan, a 沙巴体育 Scholar (ICMR-SRF) in the Department of Pharmacology at 沙巴体育 College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), 沙巴体育, has been awarded a travel grant under the Science and Engineering 沙巴体育 Board (SERB) 沙巴体育 Travel Support (ITS) Scheme. This grant will support him in attending the Brain Tumour Conference organized by Cancer 沙巴体育 UK in London, UK, from 24 to 26 September 2024. The grant covers the airfare, visa charges, and registration fees for the conference.

At the Brain Tumour Conference, Adarsh will be presenting his research on upregulation of neprilysin via HDAC1 inhibition to treat glioblastoma. Mr. Adarsh is doing his PhD under the guidance of Dr. Anoop Kishore, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology at MCOPS, MAHE, 沙巴体育, and the Co-guide is Dr. K. Sreedhara Ranganath Pai, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at MCOPS, MAHE, 沙巴体育.
