From 18th April to 22nd April 2024, UiTM, MARA University in Malaysia hosted an enriching student exchange and observership program aimed at fostering international cooperation and learning in the field of dentistry. This program provided us with the opportunity to rotate through various dental departments within the college,offering a comprehensive view of dental practices and methodologies.

Rotation in Different Dental Departments:

Participants experienced a structured rotation across different dental departments, including but not limited to oral surgery, orthodontics, and periodontology. Each rotation provided hands-on learning experiences under the guidance of experienced faculty members. The program emphasized practical skills and exposure to diverse patient cases, enriching participants' understanding of global dental practices.

Learning Experience:

The program proved to be a great learning experience for all participants. They gained insights into advanced dental techniques and treatments not commonly practiced in their home countries. Interacting with faculty and local dental professionals broadened our perspectives and enhanced our clinical knowledge and skills. We really appreciated the emphasis on evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration observed at UiTM.

Campus Life and Student Experience:

Apart from the academic aspects, participants enjoyed a vibrant campus life at UiTM. We interacted with local students, exchanged cultural insights, and participated in social activities that showcased Malaysian hospitality and diversity. The campus facilities were commendable, providing a conducive environment for both academic and extracurricular pursuits.
