As per the directives of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and in alignment with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan's Independence Day campaign, MCODS Mangalore organized the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" activity on the 13th of August, 2024. The event took place at the LHH Campus of MCODS Mangalore and witnessed the participation of students, faculty, and administrative staff, with the Dean, Associate Deans, student coordinators, and staff advisors gracing the occasion.

The event commenced with a welcome address by the Dean of MCODS Mangalore, who emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and the significance of dedicating trees to mothers as a tribute to their nurturing spirit.

The student coordinators and staff advisors played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating the event.
