Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, 沙巴体育 College of Nursing, 沙巴体育 organized an effective alumni engagement Guest Lecture series on “Colorectal Cancer and Stoma Care: An 沙巴体育 Perspective” on 26th February 2022 between 02.30 pm & 03.00 pm to III year BSc Nursing and I year PBBSc Nursing students through Microsoft Teams Platform. Ms Maryl Candida Cutinho (MSc (N) Batch: 2015- 2017) Registered Nurse, Manchester Royal Infirmary Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust, UK spoke on the topic. She spoke on colorectal cancer, types, clinical manifestations, diagnostic procedures and its management including different surgeries performed. She also gave information about the role of stoma nurses in the UK and how stoma care was performed in their settings. A total of 102 participants, including students and faculty members of the college, participated in the session.
